The preservative is applied via the carburetor or access opening of spark plugs, injection nozzles or glow plugs. 2-stroke engine Remove the air filter. With the engine running at low revs, spray the preservative into the carburetor for 10-20 sec. Switch off the engine and remove the spark plugs. Spray the preservative into the cylinder for 5-10 sec (depending on the size of the cylinder). Turn the engine by hand. 4-stroke engine Remove spark plugs, injection nozzles or glow plugs and spray the preservative into the cylinder for 5-10 sec. (depending on the size of the cylinder). Turn the engine by hand or with a starter motor (without adding fuel). Refit the spark plugs, injection nozzles or glow plugs. The preservative does not need to be removed in order to restart the engine. |
