Brushless bow thruster 65kgf, thrust force, extended run time.
Our BOW PRO thrusters use proven induction motors without carbon brushes. As a result,the bow thruster motor is maintenance-free and has Endurance Rated* run time! Only thetailpiece and the power circuits require regular maintenance. The induction motor is controlledby the VETUS MCV motor controller. This in-house-engineered motor controller can handleboth 12V or 24V board systems, making the new BOW PRO thruster s uitable for almost allboats. The built-in over-temp and low-battery protection with the brushlessinduction motor make the BOW PRO thruster series highly resistent to misuse making these thrusters ideal for even the most inexperienced boater!
The BOW PRO thruster is controlled by proprietary CAN BUS protocol (digital control). There are two fully-proportional panels available for thethruster series; one basic panel (BPPPA) and one panel with lock-and-hold function for easy docking (B PPJA). BOW PRO thrusters utilizesame propellers and gearboxes as proven in VETUS thrusters for more than 30 years. Upgrading a boat with an existing thruster to a BOW PRO thruster iseasily achieved as the Bow Pro thruster was made to share tunnel siz es with current VETUS thrusters as well as many other brands.
